Ukiwe joins Abia governorship race under ADC

Ebitu Ukiwe’s son, Otisi, has disclosed his intention to contest the governorship seat of Abia State in the upcoming general elections in 2023.
Recall that Otisi’s father,  Ebitu Ukiwe was a commodore in the Nigerian Navy who served as Vice President of Nigeria under General Ibrahim Babaginda from 1985 to 1986.
Mr Otisi who made his interest known for the exalted office ahead of the 2023 elections shortly after he visited the ADC national secretariat in Abuja, during the weekend, also disclosed that he would actualize his gubernatorial bid on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the upcoming general elections.
This was contained in a statement issued on the official Facebook page of the Abia chapter of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Earlier during his visit to the party’s Secretariat, Abuja, Ukiwe also obtained the ADC Gubernatorial Expression of Interest and Nomination forms of the party in preparation for the forthcoming primary election of the party in Abia state.
The 2023 governorship hopeful assured the people of the state and residents of greater, economically, and Infrastructurally stable Abia, towards enhancing the welfare of the populaces, and fostering the needed development in every facet of the state.
