Delegates and Ward Executives of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), from Arochukwu and Ohafia Local Government Areas of Abia State, have pledged to ensure the emergence of Dr Sam Anya, as the House of Representatives standard bearer for the Arochukwu /Ohafia federal constituency seat in the upcoming primaries, and the main elections in 2023.
The PDP members applauded Anya for the laudable strides he has recorded in human empowerment and social development, expressing total confidence that the National Assembly hopeful would attract and bring the needed dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of people of the Arochukwu/Ohafia federal Constituency if rally rounded to emerge victorious in both the primaries and main 2023 general elections.
The LGA party delegates and wards executives spoke when they met with the PDP House of Representatives hopeful, Sam Anya, at his Elu Ohafia residence, on Thursday.
According to them, “Chief Dr. Sam Anya ( Akaepuchionwa ), has shown capacity in various areas and has helped alot of people from his own pocket. He has the capacity to win the general election for PDP and deliver Arochukwu/Ohafia”.
Also speaking respectively during enlarged meeting, the PDP delegates from the Arochukwu and ohafia extractions of Abia state, described Chief Anya as experienced engineer, and the best material, eminently qualified for the exalted federal house of representatives seat come 2023.
“He’s accessible, humble and experience engineer who has all it takes both contact, money and he’s well outspoken to give the good people of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, a quality representation at the federal level”,
On his part during the parley with the PDP delegates and ward executive, the House of Representatives Aspirant, Dr Sam Anya, highlighted that the meeting was convened on the heels of upcoming primaries, and to seek for the support of the Delegates/Ward Executive’s and other party faithful’s to emerge as the PDP Flag bearer for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency ahead of the 2023 General Election.
The Abia aspirant explained that he is going to give them effective representation and bring down dividends of democracy, attract federal government project, and ensure development youths; empower the mother’s for Small Scale Business Enterprises (SMEs), and offer scholarship to our son’s/daughters of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency within a year.
Anya assured the PDP delegates and ward executive committee that he would not disappoint them, and as well, and remain in the ruling party in Abia state, as he had been a PDP member since its formation and assumption of 1999 till date.
