Niger Guber: I’m committed to my promises – Malagi

The Chairman of Blueprint Newspapers Limited and frontline governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi has reiterated his resolve to work for peace and rancor-free campaign ahead of the governorship primaries in the state.
Malagi who stated this during his state-wide tour to Lapai and Agaie local government areas of the state said, ” I have made consistent promises to Nigerlites since I began this journey over 31 months ago is my resolve to work for a greater Niger state. I remained committed to my promises.”
The Governorship aspirant explained that he is not disturbed by the antics of desperate politicians engaged in acts of hooliganism and thuggery aimed at creating animosity among members of the APC political family in the state.
According to him,” We are all Nigerlites. All the aspirants are Nigerlites. Anyone who desires to lead Niger State as Governor in 2023, must be peace-loving, focused, and visionary. He must be someone who can create wealth, not crisis, he must be someone who can engender, not conflict, someone who can build bridges of understanding and not burn them, who can empower youth through gainful employment, not destroy them through thuggery and hooliganism.”
Malagi also called on his supporters to remain calm in the face of provocation, adding that it was unfortunate that some politicians are determined to breach the peace being enjoyed in the state by engaging in acts capable of overheating the political atmosphere.
Malagi further stated that his visit to Lapai and Agaie was to consolidate on earlier engagements with relevant stakeholders in the areas, adding that the two LGs are critical parts of the State whose contributions to the political and socio-economic development cannot be overemphasized.
