President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide, Bashir Ahmaad has said that not everything is executed on social media, stating that right from time, it had been planned that former president, Goodluck Jonathan would defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Bashir, while confirming the defection of the former Nigerian leader in a post via his Twitter page on Thursday said some supporters of the former president doubted his earlier prediction that the former President wiould defect to the ruling party. He said they were only blind to the truth.
His tweet read: “When I shared the news of former President Jonathan joining our party, his uninformed supporters insulted me saying it can never happen even in the wildest dream.
“They should know that we know something they don’t know and not everything is planned and executed on social media.”
Recall that a Northern group purchased Jonathan’s N100 million Nomination and Expression of Interest forms from the ruling party. But the former president was quick to deny them, saying he did not authorize the purchase of the form. Jonathan went further to say that the purchase done without his prior knowledge was an insult to his person.
