A meeting of the 2023 aspirants called in Lagos by Chief Bisi Akande and Aremo Osoba has commenced with both the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu in attendance.
A photo obtained by Afripost.ng from the meeting venue captured Osinbajo and Tinubu exchanging pleasantries by way of shaking hands.
Recall that both camps of the two politicians had recently engaged each other over the decision of Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo to go ahead with his aspiration for the office of the nation’s president.
Following the controversy, Akande and Aremo had called for a meeting to reduce tension and to possibly trim down the growing list of aspirants from the South West.
