Niger Gov advocate for equity, fairness in 2023 elections

Niger State Governor Abubakar Sani Bello has advocated for fairness and equity for all those contesting various elective positions in 2023; general elections in the state.

Bello who stated this while receiving the All Progressives Congress, APC, nomination form to contest the Niger North seat purchased by his commissioners in Minna, said contestants should be given a level playing ground.

On the nomination form, he explained that initially he had no plans to contest but had succumbed to pressure from those that truly wants him to join the race.

According to Bello,” although before now I did not want to run for the Senate after 8 years in office as Governor, I have to bow to the wish of many of you who had mounted this pressure genuinely.”

He stated that he was also overwhelmed by the growing support base the senatorial project has attained moments after indicating interest in the race especially, the solidarity shown by other aspirants such as Hon. Nasko of the PDP, Sani Duba from the zone and across political parties in the state.

Presenting the form, the Chairman of the Niger state Commissioners Forum, Mamman Musa stated that their principal deserved to serve the state and his senatorial district in particular,  at the National Assembly to replicate his achievements.
