Tahir Guest Palace owner in Kano, Tahir Fadlallah is dead.
The 74-year-old billionaire’s death was announced on Friday morning, as he was said to have died in Beirut, capital of Lebanon.
He had earlier been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Clemenceau Medical Center in Beirut. The businessman had COVID-19.
The industrialist moved to Nigeria at a young age, with his parents. He is survived by a wife and five children.
On Twitter, Friday morning, President Muhammadu Buhari’s media aide, Garba Shehu confirmed the death of the industrialist, stating that: “We have lost Tahir. May Allah grant him Aljannah.”
A family source told Afripost.ng that the remains of the industrialist will arrive Nigeria for burial on Saturday as the deceased considered Nigeria as his home.
