Buhari swears in new permanent secretaries in Abuja

President Buhari Thursday swore in new permanent secretaries while also presiding over the Federal Executive Council Meeting at the Statehouse, Abuja.

The event had in attendance all Permanent Secretaries to be sworn in. Also in attendance was the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and other important government personalities.

Recall that the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation had earlier announced that President Muhammadu Buhari had approved the appointment of four (4) new permanent Secretaries, including the Solicitor General of the Federation/ Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Justice, in the Federal Civil Service following the recently conducted selection process.

The head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, made this known on Friday 25th March, 2022 in Abuja.

Those appointed were:

  1. Ogbe Mary Ada (Benue State)

  2. Shehu Ibrahim (Jigawa State)

  3. Daju Kachallom Shangti, mni (Plateau State)

  4. Jedy-Agba Beatrice Ejodamen, mni (Solicitor General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Justice)
