Adegoke’s Murder case: How co-defendant Chiefuna slumps in Court

Second defendant, Magdalene Chiefuna, in the alleged murder case of late Timothy Adegoke reportedly slumped in court on Monday.

The Nation reports that the incident happened after the accused was spotted coughing intermittently while the counsel from the Ministry of Justice and defendants’ counsel were arguing the propriety of a human rights activist, Femi Falana, SAN taking over the prosecution.

The presiding judge, Osun Chief Judge Justice Oyebola Ojo, following the development adjourned the trial of owner of Hilton hotel, Ile-Ife, Dr Rahmon Adedoyin, and its six staff over alleged murder and interference with the corpse of a Master’s Student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Adegoke.

Justice Ojo gave a short adjournment so that the second defendant can be attended to.
