2023: Group raises over N100m for Ebonyi guber aspirant

The Ebonyi Diaspora Community for AnyiChuks, in Abuja has raised over N100, 000, 000 in support of Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, a business Mogul as the next Governor of the state come 2023.

Odi, a Philanthropist, populary known as “Anyichuks is contesting for governorship position under the platform of the People Democratic Party (PDP).

The group number over 5, 000 persons include, Cheifs, youths, women and people with disabilities commended Odii’s human capital development initiatives.

They expressed hope that with him as Governor, Ebonyi people will move forward.

The Group’s Ag. National Coordinator, Mr Francis Nwigwe, described Anyichuks’s move as a “step into a new era for Ebonyi people.”

“2023 is going to be time for a new administration to change the narrative, and restore hope to the people.

“Anyichuks is a man God is using to restore hope to the hopeless and to wipe away tears from people’s eyes.

“We are saying that the time has come for someone with capacity to take over the leadership of the state.

“Our mission here, today is to build a partnership with the man God has ordained to lead Ebonyi to the Promised Land,” Nwigwe said.

In his remark, Odii thanked the Group, noting that plans are ongoing to make an official declaration of his interest to contest for governor.

It recalls that the Business mogul had purchased the nomination form as well as expression of interest form for gubernatorial seat come 2023.

“I am ready to serve my people. I have love for humanity. I love my people and God knows from the bottom of my heart that when I see them in pain, I feel pain, and when I see them smile, I feel that I should be happy.

“I care for every one of them, and that is what it is,” he said.

Mr Alamboye Duke, National Secretary of Nigeria Youths Organization (NYO) described Odii as “best candidate for Ebonyi state.

At the interactive session, seven Bishops were present including Sam C Okorie, Amadi A Amadi amogest others.

Others are: Mr Anthony Nweke, Chief of Ebonyi Diaspora Community for AnyiChuks, Mpape, Abuja. The Chairman of Ebonyi Royal Forum.

Chief Mrs Nwakaego Emmanuel, knowns as Ego Beke, Chairman of Isuokoma Development Union, Abuja branch, Chief Bennett Chukwu among others.
