Abdullahi Adamu has officially taken over the national chairmanship position of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Former Chairman, Mai Buni handed over the chairmanship position to Adamu on Wednesday at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.
Adamu was President Muhammadu Buhari’s choice ahead of the party’s convention and a former Governor of Nasarawa State.
Buni, the Yobe State Governor had been in charge of the National Caretaker and Convention Planning Committee since 2020.
More than 70 others were also confirmed as the new members of the National Working Committee (NWC).
