In a bid to stop the ongoing war, Russia has listed two conditions to Ukraine upon which both countries can seize fire.
The war which entered Day 12 on Monday, has claimed many lives including civilians in Ukraine with two major cities already captured by the Russian military.
The Mirror reports that Russia asked Ukraine to surrender three regions and scrap its Army.
The Kremlin wants Ukraine “demilitarised” and demanded that Donetsk and Lugansk become independent states.
The regions have witnessed battles between Russian backed separatists and Ukrainian forces for eight years.
The Federation has also demanded that Ukraine recognise Crimea as part of Russia.
A spokesperson for the Russian government listed the conditions ahead of today’s peace talks.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “They should make amendments to the constitution according to which Ukraine would reject any aims to enter any bloc.
“This is possible only by making changes to the constitution.
“We really are finishing the demilitarisation of Ukraine. We will finish it.
“But the main thing is that Ukraine ceases its military action. They should stop their military action and then no one will shoot.”
