Nigeria vs Tunisia: You’ll find soldiers playing against Super Eagles in Garoua – Aissa Laidouni

Tunisia midfielder, Aissa Laidouni has insisted that football fans will find soldiers playing against Nigeria when both teams contest in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, Round of 16 tie on Sunday night in Garoua.

Laidouni said that Tunisia would do its best to beat the Super Eagles in the 2021 AFCON last-16 tie.

He noted that Tunisia had corrected their mistakes in their previous matches in the group stage ahead of the Nigeria clash.

“We all play for the team. We just focus on the competition and how to work.

“We don’t think of the problems. Our focus is the game, and we will do our best to win.

“We were not good enough against Gambia and were punished at the end. We took the lesson and will correct our mistakes and give our best. This is past now and our focus is what is coming.

“Comes the game [against Nigeria], you will find soldiers giving their all,” Laidouni told CAF Online.

The kick-off time for Nigeria vs Tunisia is 8 pm. (Daily Post)
