Augustine Eguavoen has boasted that Super Eagles are very ready to compete in the round of sixteen of the Africa Cup of Nations against Tunisia team on Sunday.
The coach said he was not bothered starting any member of the Super Eagles team, adding that he will also not think twice substitute anyone if the need be.
Nigeria and Tunisia will lock horns in the round of sixteen of the Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday evening and the 1994 AFCON winner explained that he made a lot of changes in the game against Guinea Bissau to give some of the fringe players the opportunity to play.
“We made a lot of changes in the last game because we wanted to give everybody the opportunity to play and when the time comes for us to substitute we won’t think twice,” Eguavoen told press on Saturday.
“Now we know the level everybody’s at and come tomorrow, we’ll come up maybe the same lineup, maybe a different lineup but whichever lineup we come with will be very, very ready to compete,” he said. (Daily Post)
