Currently, nine countries have qualified for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, round of 16 after Egypt joined other qualified countries Wednesday night to book a place in the 2021 AFCON last-16.
The Egyptians defeated Sudan 1-0, following a first-half goal from Mohamed Abdelmonem.
The Super Eagles that have already qualified also defeated Guinea Bissau 2-0 in the other game to grab all nine points.
The nine countries that have qualified so far are Cameroon, Morocco, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Guinea, Morocco, Gabon and Egypt.
