Singer Tiwa Savage’s father who died on July 19 has been laid to rest.
The singer shared clips of the event via her Instagram stories.
Few days ago, the mother of one released her father’s burial poster on social media, sharing the invite, the dress code and other necessary information concerning the burial, Nation reports.
The Number 1 African Bad Gyal also vowed to give her father a befitting burial, which many believe she did.
A service of songs held for the “Korroba” crooner’s late father on Friday and she showed up with family members all donned in shiny silver coloured Asoebi attire, looking really stunning.
The mother of one posted the photos and wrote: “Day 1 of my Daddy’s burial services, tomorrow we give him the best send off ever. Rest in peace.”
For the burial ceremony, Tiwa showed up in a Rolls Royce adorned in a rich royal blue and gold embellished outfit with beautiful expensive-looking shoes and a statement purse accompanied with subtle jewelry and makeup.
Her six-year-old son, Jamil aka Jam Jam, also rocked a royal blue and white native outfit with a traditional cap to match.
