Gad distributes over 5,000 footwears to school children in Benue district [PHOTOS/VIDEOS]

Owukpa born international social and development worker, philanthropist and former Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency House of Representatives aspirant, Peter Gad on Tuesday again extended his philanthropic gesture to public primary schools pupils in Owukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State.

The beneficiaries of his benevolence span across primary schools in all four wards in the Owukpa community.

AFRIPOST recalls that the middle-aged man has, at different times, single-handedly carried out many tangible humanitarian works in Owukpa community where he hailed from ranging from electrification to cash donations to alleviate the suffering of the people due to lack of government attention.

The Country Director, Equal Access, in Nigeria, said that he believed each time God bless him is an opportunity to bless others and to give back.

Gad, a man of few words but a believer of action said. “Each time God blesses us is an opportunity to bless others and to give back.

“I strongly believe that giving to humanity will make the world a better place.”

He used the opportunity to call on all well-meaning Owukpa sons and daughters to always remember home and make life meaningful and happy for their brothers and sisters in the village.

“I will call on all well-meaning Owukpa to always remember other brothers and sisters back in the village and help make life meaningful and happy for them.”
