The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 645 fresh cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The development brings the total number of recorded cases in the country to 151,553.
The disease control agency, made the confirmation on Saturday night via a tweet on its official Twitter handle.
According to the new data by NCDC, Nigeria has also recorded 18 more deaths, as total number of fatalities jumped to 1,831.
NCDC also announced 222 community recoveries in Lagos State. So far, about 128,005 have recovered from the virus across the country.
