Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel World Wide, has said the dreaded coronavirus (COVID-19) can not penetrate into some churches due to the presence of God.
The Bishop made the assertion on Sunday during service at the church’s headquarters, Canaan Land Ota in Ogun State.
The 66-year-old gospel preacher, said that church is a spiritual refuge where many get their deliverances, adding that COVID-19 was organized by the devil to hold the entire would to ransom.
According to Oyedepo: “Have you ever had COVID here? It doesn’t know this place. If you ask COVID itself, ‘will you go there?’ It will say, ‘never, I won’t go.’
“The good news is you are free from any infection of any virus all the days of your life, because you are in God’s city of refuge.
“Zion is God’s city of refuge. There are many Churches on this earth today that no virus can enter there by reason of the dominant presence of God in the midst of His people”.
Meanwhile, AFRIPOST observed that worshippers in the church were complying with COVID-19 protocols as outlined by medical experts.
Those without face mask, were denied entrance into the church auditorium.
