Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Anchor University Lagos, AUL, Prof. Johnson Fatokun, who was abducted on Sunday around Nasarrawa State, on his way from Jos has been released.
The University’s Assistant Registrar, Strategy & Communications, Mr Okesola Sanusi, who confirmed the release in a message to The Nation, said he is expected back in Lagos on Thursday.
“To the glory of God, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Anchor University, Professor J.O. Fatokun, has been released,” Sanusi wrote.
Fatokun had gone to drop his children in schools in Jos and Kaduna and was on his way back when he was abducted.
