The Judicial Panel of Inquiry set up by the Lagos State Government to probe the killings of unarmed Nigerian youths at Lekki toll gate recently, has began the review of CCTV footage recorded during the massacre.
AFRIPOST reports that many Nigerian youths protesting against the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and general police brutality were shot dead by the military on October 20.
The footage was submitted by the Lekki Concession Company (LCC), operators of the Lekki toll gate.
The Managing Director of LCC, Abayomi Omomuwa, had submitted the video footage on Tuesday.
The retired Justice Doris Okuwobi-led panel began viewing the footage around 11:30am on Friday.
