Gov Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has called for peace among residents of the state.
The governor who made the call on Tuesday via his verified social media handles said he was not against any tribe.
AFRIPOST reports that governor Wike recently banned activities of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB owing to rise in insecurity in some parts of the state
According to Wike: “Any decision we take is for the good of everybody. It is not against any tribes. There is need for us to live in peace. From today., I don’t want to hear Igbo fighting Hausa.
“If there is any trouble, there is no need to take laws in to your hands. Report the matter to us and we will address it.”
