Nigeria on Thursday recorded 124 new coronavirus cases bringing the total number of confirmed infection in the country to 54,587.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC made the announcement on Thursday via it’s official Facebook page.
About 1,045 persons have died as a result of coronavirus complications in the country while 42,627 patients have been treated and discharged from various isolation centres.
