The Edo State Government has confirmed 59 new coronavirus cases across the state.
The state government made the confirmation on Friday via its verified Facebook handle.
The figures published on the page indicated that the state has recorded the total of 1562 cases.
It also stated that the state now has 580 active cases as 925 patients have been successfully treated and discharged to reunite with families while 57 fatalities have also been recorded.
