Nigeria’s active COVID-19 cases hit 15,693 as NCDC confirms more cases

The active coronavirus cases in the country has jumped to 15,693 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC confirmed 626 more cases.

The new cases were confirmed in 19 state and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja with Lagos having the highest cases.

NCDC made the confirmation on Thursday night via a post on its verified Facebook page.

According to the post, the total number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 27,110 with 616 fatalities while 10,801 have been successfully treated and discharges to reunite with society.
