Nigeria’s active COVID-19 cases rise to 15,158 as NCDC confirms new cases.

The active coronavirus cases in Nigeria have risen to 15,158 as 566 more cases were confirmed on Monday in 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The development was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC via a post on it’s official Facebook page.

According to the post, the total number of recorded cases in the country has jumped to 25,133 with 573 deaths while 9,402 patients have so far been discharged from isolation centres to reunite with society.
