Lagos discharges 98 more COVID-19 patients

About 98 coronavirus patients were on Friday discharged from the Lagos State’s isolation centres.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen, said those discharged consists of 71 males and 27 females.

The governor said 23 of those discharged were from Onikan, 22 from LUTH, 17 from Gbagada, and another 17 from Eti-Osa areas of the state.

While 14 patients came from Agidingbi, 4 were from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, and 1 from Paelon Centre, an accredited private facility respectively.

This brings to 1283 the total number of discharged patients in the state.

Meanwhile the state on Friday also recorded 281 new cases of the novel virus.

This was contained in the figures released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease control while confirming 667 new cases recorded across 23 state in Nigeria.
