Seventy- eight persons were on Friday confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19 in Lagos State.
The State Ministry for Health, on its Twitter page on Friday, said the state has so far recorded 590 cases.
“#COVID19 Lagos update as at 23rd April 2020
“78 new cases of #COVID19 infection confirmed.
“Total confirmed cases in Lagos now 590.
#StayAtHome.”
Meanwhile, Nigeria on Thursday confirmed 108 cases in the country.
NCDC said it recorded 78 cases in Lagos, 14 in FCT, 5 in Ogun, 4 in Gombe, 3 in Borno, 2 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Kwara and 1 in Plateau State.
