In regard to the current crisis in the All Progressives Congress [ APC], initiated by the court order suspending the chairman of the party, Adam Oshiohmole, the party’s National Executive Committee [NEC], has scheduled an emergency meeting to address the challenges.
The acting secretary of the party, Chief Victor T. Giadom who made the announcement on Saturday said the emergency meeting has been slated to hold on Tuesday, March 17 in Abuja.
Recall that Oshiohmole had appealed the court order suspending him as chairman of the party.
While Oshiomhole is yet to accept the order of the court, the party secretariat has been placed under heavy security.
However, In bid to control the rising heat, the party has called for an emergency NEC meeting.
In his announcement, he said, “All NEC members to attend the emergency meeting in line with Article 25 (B) (II) of the constitution of the party.”
