Man Utd Vs Man City: Ighalo Reveals Expectations From EPL Derby

Manchester United striker, Odion Ighalo, has revealed what he expects when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men tackle Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Premier League derby on Sunday.

Ighalo said he expects a ‘tough’ game against Pep Guardiola’s side at the Old Trafford Stadium.

The 30-year-old said this on Thursday night after leading Man United to beat Derby County 3-0 in the FA Cup fifth-round encounter

The Nigerian striker scored two goals as the Red Devils defeated Derby County at the iPro Stadium to qualified for the FA Cup quarter-final, where they will face Norwich City.

Asked what he expects from Man United’s derby clash with Man City, Ighalo told Viaplay Football: “It is going to be a tough game because derby game is always tough.

“This is the first derby I am going to play, so we are working hard, and we have to correct every mistake we did against Derby County.

“Because we cannot afford to do it against Man City on Sunday, and so we are going to work hard from Friday, Saturday’s training, and get ready for the game.”

The match kick-off time is 5:30 pm.
