Ethnic and religious crisis was averted in Umuahia, the Abia State capital on Saturday as a tiger-nut customer raised the alarm over the sudden disappearance of his penis, according to report.
The incidenyt happened at Oboro street by Niger road in Umahia and attracted so many residents.
It was gathered that Police intervention averted a mobe action against a Hausa man who was accused of being responsible for the missing Penis.
According to report, the man whose Penis alleged went missing, stopped to buy tiger nut from the Hausa man and when he was about going into the shop to get money he could use to settle for the price, he was touched by the Hausa man who was pretending to remove a dirt from his cloth.
It was this time the man noticed a movement in his body and when he checked, he realized his Penis was gone, he then raised alarm for the missing organ.
The suspected Hausa man was allegedly beaten to a pulp in an effort to compel him to restore the missing Penis.
He however, pleaded that the missing organ has gone far beyond restoration.
The two men were kept in Police custody for further investigations.
Meanwhile, it was gathered that the victim was taken to a popular Ama Hausa at Eket street in Umuahia where the situation was reversed as the missing Penis was later restored.
