Fani Kayode Reacts As Adamawa Court Sentences 5 Christians To Death For Killing Herdsman

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to Adamawa court order sentencing five christians to death by hanging for killing fulani herdemen.

Justice Abdul-Azeez Waziri on June 13, 2018 sentenced Alex Amos, Alheri Phanuel, Holy Boniface, Jerry Gideon and Jari Sabagi to death for culpable homicide.

The convicts were said to have on June 1, 2017, at Kadamun village in Demsa Local Government Area wilfully and intentionally conspired and attacked three herdsmen rearing cattle, killing one of them, Adamu Buba, whose body they threw into a river and also maimed several cows.

But reacting in a tweet, Fani Kayode, who maintained that the christian convicts were defending themselves against ‘Fulani terrorist, wondered if Nigeria is an apartheid state where the herdsmen are above the law.’

He also noted that till date, no Fulani herdsman has been reprimanded or jailed for killing more than 5,300 Christians in 2018.

Fani-Kayode on Twitter wrote, “The jihadists who killed the RCCG Evangelist for preaching in Abuja were set free. The ones who killed Bridget, the Deeper Life Pastor’s wife in Kano were set free.

”No Fulani terrorist has been reprimanded or jailed for killing more than 5,300 Christians in 2018 alone.

”Meanwhile 5 Christians of the Numan tribe have been sentenced to death by a Fulani Judge in Adamawa for defending themselves against a Fulani terrorist.

”Do non-Fulani lives not matter as well? Is Nigeria now an apartheid state where the Fulani are above the law?”
