Governor of Cross River State in the just concluded The Labour Room Reality TV Show, Her Excellency, Miss Ewarey Ruth Besho-Ateh, on Saturday celebrated her birthday with orphans under Christ Orphanage Home, in Kuje Area Council, Abuja.
Afripost recall, according to source, though still under investigation, that Her Excellency, Ewarey was supposed to be among the winners of the Labour Room Reality TV Show but was allegedly manipulated and replaced by the Labour Room officials.
The former Labour Room governor decided to celebrate this year birthday in the orphanage home to put smile on the faces of the orphans who feel they have no reason to smile due to life experience they are into.
In her remark, Ewarey said “I decided to celebrate the birthday in the orphanage home to give the children sense of belonging in life and also to make them feel important like other children in the society.”
Among the items the celebrant blessed the children with amidst heavy refreshment range from bags of rice, Indomie, cooking oil, soap, detergents, clothes, soft drinks, cartons of table water, exercise books, pen and pencils, etc.
Her elder sister, Mrs Eda Eze wished her beloved sister, Ewarey a fruitful new age and also thanked her loving and caring mother for organizing a befitting birthday for the baby in the house.
The founder of the Christ Orphanage Home, Mrs Patricia Oye-Kuta thanked the celebrant for identifying with the children on her birthday. Kuta prayed God to bless and replenish the organizer and wished her well in her future endeavors.
The occasion was attended by family and friends among whom were her elder sister and her husband, Mr&Mrs Eze, mother, Dr (Mrs) Alice Bukie Ateh-Abang and other dignitaries.
Others included former Labour Room governors who represented different states in the just concluded Reality TV Show, Promx Nana Gulong (Plateau State Labour Room Governor), Oluwatobi Yeye (Kwara State Labour Room Governor), Haruna Babale (Yobe State Labour Room Governor), Chinonso Joy Nwosu (Abia State Labour Room Governor), Hyellai Chongvurum Pona (Bauchi State Labour Room Governor) and Nafiu Bello Basakkwace (Sokoto State Labour Room Governor).
