Sacked Police Officer Arraigned In Court For Looting Goodluck Jonathan’s Property

One of the sacked police officers involved with the looting of the residence of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Musa Musa has been arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Wuse, Abuja.

Musa, a sergeant was arraigned by the Nigeria Police Force before the justice Mabel Segun-Bello-led court.

The sacked sergeant was among those who looted Jonathan’s property at No.89 Fourth Avenue Gwarimpa district, Abuja.

However, Musa was the only person arraigned by the police.

Magistrate Segun-Bello, after listening to the arguments by respective counsels granted Musa bail with a bond of N7 million.

“The law is clear about right to liberty. Bail is granted to allow the accused attend trial. Where it is perceived that the accused may jump bail, he may be denied,” Segun-Bello said.
