All is now set for the celebration of the 2017 Idoma Cultural day aimed at promoting Nigerian culture, unity and tolerance across the country
In a chat with journalists, the executive chairman of the NAIS ABU chapter, Mr. Oganyi Micheal Idoko, stated that the Idoma Cultural day is aimed at creating an avenue for experts to contribute in analyzing the challenges facing Idoma Culture also suggesting possible way out of those challenges.
‘’Idoma day is an annual celebration and the essence of it is to promote the cultural heritage in Idoma land and promote the common interest among the Idoma youth,’’ he said.
The chairman further stated that various events will showcase the rich heritage of Idoma people such as the Idoma food, entertainment such as the Oglinya dance, launching of new machine and other various activities.
