As more reactions continue to trail the Supreme Court ruling on Wednesday, declaring Senator Ahmed Makarfi, as Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Rose Oko said the victory was for all members of the PDP.
Sen Oko in her reaction described the ruling as victory for the soul of democracy and justice.
She said: “Today, I join our party faithfuls and its teeming supporters to congratulate the chairman of the caretaker committee of our great party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Sen Ahmed Makarfi and his team over today’s victory at the Supreme Court.
“The victory today is indeed a victory for the soul of democracy and the course of justice to the nation.
“Our hope and faith has been reawakened and our resolve for a stable polity has been guaranteed.
“I use this medium to call on all our party faithfuls and numerous supporters across the divide to use today’s verdict as a means to unify our bond towards strengthening the party.”
